Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient – Neuro (PRN Days)

Role Summary: An occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to restore or enhance patients’ daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the care continuum in a cost-effective, quality-driven, and patient-centered manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Treatment Planning and Care: Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with patient input, provides education, discharge instructions, follow-up, and referrals.
  • Patient Assessment: Collaborates with physicians to evaluate and establish treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans, ensuring they align with patient needs and family input.
  • Documentation: Maintains accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, family education, and discharge summaries per departmental protocols.
  • Professional Conduct: Upholds ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, punctuality, effective communication, teamwork, and safety practices.
  • Customer Service & Professional Development: Demonstrates excellent patient interaction, encourages a positive environment, participates in ongoing education, and adheres to organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Masters or Bachelors in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
  • Effective communication skills, customer service orientation, team player attitude, and basic computer proficiency.
