Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. Licensed and knowledgeable, they adhere to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, supporting system policies and promoting service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
- Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive, individualized care, partnering with patients and families to align care goals.
- Coordinate safe, quality care through effective documentation and interdisciplinary communication.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research and evidence-based practice, and uphold safety standards.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote professional growth and a healthy work environment.
- Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and data collection to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or diploma in nursing required; bachelor’s preferred.
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years RN experience, preferably with direct patient care.
