Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in complex critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Educate patients and support system, mentor new staff and students, and participate in staff development.
- Collaborate with healthcare team for care planning and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Promote quality and safe environment through adherence to policies, performance improvement, and evidence-based practices.
- Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including pulmonary diagnostics and cardiac services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS required upon hire.
- 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills; ability to establish effective relationships with healthcare professionals.
