CT Technologist (Non Registered)

This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety, quality, and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities include adjusting imaging techniques to minimize radiation exposure while maintaining image quality, verifying clinician orders, obtaining clinical histories, and ensuring proper patient identification and comfort.
Technologists will operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and adhere to infection control protocols.
They must demonstrate competence in sterile techniques, venipuncture, and pre/post-procedural care, while effectively communicating with patients to explain procedures and address concerns using AIDET principles.
Additional duties include quality control, ensuring images meet radiologist standards, managing departmental supplies, transporting and positioning patients, and maintaining departmental organization.
Qualifications require certification in Radiologic Technology, at least one year of radiology experience, ARRT-R certification, and BLS certification.
