Role: The Home Health Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions, in an interdisciplinary environment. They are accountable for program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement, collaborating flexibly with team members.
Supervises: Positions such as Physical Therapy Assistant and Home Health Aides.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires ability to perform duties with or without accommodations, including lifting loads of up to 50 pounds, mobility, stamina, and physical activities like bending, standing, and assisting patients. Candidates with disabilities that can be accommodated are also considered qualified. Must be able to handle infectious diseases and emergency situations, and wear protective gear. Strong physical strength, mobility, and endurance are essential.
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements: Ability to see with corrective lenses, hear clearly with assistance, and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and twisting. May be exposed to chemicals, infectious diseases, and irregular hours.
