Role Overview: Provide essential patient care and support clinical procedures in a healthcare setting, ensuring safety, hygiene, and accurate documentation. Participate in team-based care, quality improvement initiatives, and maintain a clean and organized environment to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with patient admissions, discharges, hygiene, feeding, mobility, vital signs, specimen collection, and newborn care
- Supporting procedures such as EKGs, fetal monitoring, phlebotomy, oxygen setup, and post-operative care while following safety protocols
- Maintaining accurate records and promptly reporting changes in patient condition
- Ensuring a safe, clean environment by equipment cleaning, supply stocking, and managing patient belongings
- Engaging in team meetings, training, and quality initiatives to uphold a patient-first approach
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current CNA certification or enrolled in nursing with completed clinical rotations
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to score 90%+ on mandatory health and safety quizzes
- Soft skills including flexibility, organization, multi-tasking, critical thinking, and composure under stress
