Role Overview:
This position is for a Full-Time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in the Echocardiology Department, performing various cardiac tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and transesophageal procedures. The role involves conducting tests at multiple hospital locations, maintaining accurate patient logs, updating charges, and managing patient files.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic cardiac procedures
- Maintaining patient records and logs
- Updating billing information and utilizing cardiac lab software
- Supporting learning opportunities in advanced echo-guided procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalent
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
- Experience not required; new grads are encouraged to apply
- Preferred: 2+ years in related roles, CPR certification, and additional sonography experience
