Role Overview
We are seeking a Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging for adult and pediatric patients, including abdominal, obstetric, small parts, and vascular studies. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting imaging procedures independently, and assisting with needle interventions such as biopsies and drainages.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations and document procedures accurately.
- Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment.
- Conduct studies on-call, portable exams, and at various sites as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school.
- Licensed RDMS or equivalent credential.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR certification, and RDCS or similar certification.
- No supervisory experience required; training provided for entry-level candidates.
Key Duties
- Maintain equipment readiness and safety.
- Perform imaging procedures independently and accurately.
- Assist with interventional procedures when necessary.
