Radiation Therapist (RT[T]) – Brachy

Role Overview

This position involves performing patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The role requires preparing patients and charts before procedures, delivering accurate treatments, coordinating patient scheduling, and assisting physicians with procedures by preparing supplies. The therapist administers radiopharmaceutical treatments, provides patient education, and supports advanced treatment techniques using the latest technology in radiation therapy, including imaging, dosimetry, and HDR treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures
  • Deliver precise and consistent treatments
  • Complete treatment processes and coordinate scheduling
  • Assist with advanced radiation therapy techniques and imaging
  • Support department training programs and cross-train within teams

Qualifications & Skills

  • Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
  • Board Certified by ARRT (RT[T])
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Licensure as R.T.(T) required
  • No prior experience necessary
