Occupational Therapist – PRN

Role Overview

This PRN Occupational Therapist provides skilled evaluation and treatment services in an acute care setting, including orthopedic, surgical, oncology, cardiac, and medical patients. Key responsibilities involve developing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, delegating tasks appropriately, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires assessing patient needs, adjusting interventions, and ensuring optimal discharge outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and valid OT license
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • No prior experience necessary; supervision experience not required

  • Establish and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
