Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver is a frontline leader responsible for ensuring exceptional resident care while supporting and coaching the caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading shift assignments, managing attendance, and coordinating coverage
• Providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Mentoring and onboarding new team members
• Reviewing charting to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitoring resident health changes and communicating concerns promptly
• Promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions
• Modeling professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care settings
