Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely and accurately to residents, following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
Key duties include documenting medication administration in MAR/TAR, monitoring residents during and after medication passes, reporting concerns promptly, completing narcotic counts, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms.

This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred: Senior care experience
