Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized inpatient unit focused on Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, and Plastic Surgery patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within standards of nursing practice.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
- Develop and document personalized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
- Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
- Participate in activities that support patient safety, quality improvement, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience; 2 years preferred.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
