Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the respiratory care team, primarily working the night shift. This position involves providing direct patient care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and supporting advanced clinical activities such as mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide delivery, and arterial blood gas sampling. The therapist will educate patients, families, and healthcare staff, ensuring safe and effective respiratory treatments while adhering to quality and regulatory standards. The role includes collaboration with the healthcare team and participation in rapid response interventions.
Qualifications:
Required include an associate degree or CoARC-accredited program in Respiratory Therapy, licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and RRT certification, and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS). Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and experience in advanced respiratory procedures.
