Role Overview:
Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with hand treatment experience for outpatient care in a multidisciplinary setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments affecting daily activities and work abilities. The therapist will develop personalized treatment plans, educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams, and delegate tasks to assistants and students based on competency.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment
- Providing assessment, consultation, and treatment services per clinical guidelines
- Educating and collaborating with patients, families, and providers; making referral recommendations
- Delegating interventions appropriately to staff and students
- Participating in program development, staff training, and quality improvement projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 2-5 years of experience
- Board Certification and licensure in area of expertise
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree.
