High-Risk Cardiology – Clinical RN (Night Shift) → Clinical RN – Cardiology (Night Shift)

Role Overview:

Provides comprehensive patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including Hospitalists, cardiology consultants, residents, and interns to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans aligned with standards of nursing care.
  • Educating patients and families on illness management, medication administration, and post-discharge needs.
  • Promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through active participation in professional development activities.
  • Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural values.
  • Utilizing critical nursing skills to evaluate and respond to patient conditions effectively.

Qualifications include an RN license, with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience requirements are flexible, with a preference for those with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training are required.
