Clinical Nurse – Neuro Interventional Radiology

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on managing illnesses, and promoting safety and quality compliance. The nurse collaborates with an interprofessional team to develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Critical nursing skills are essential to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN certification; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in ICU, ED, IR, or Cath Lab preferred; no supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
  • Must work safely and remain alert, as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Key Duties:

  • Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management.
  • Participate in activities to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and document care plans with clear goals.
  • Assess patient needs holistically, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
