Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in specialized units, including ICUs and ER, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.
Promotes patient- and family-centered care by educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development activities.
Develops, documents, and communicates individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate patient needs and barriers, advocating for high-quality care. This position is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- Educational background: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree (RN required), Bachelor’s preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2 years in acute care preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
