Clinical Nurse – Wound & Ostomy

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a healing environment by educating patients and families.
  • Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document care plans with clear goals, coordinating across care settings.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
  • Maintain safety-sensitive practices, working alertly and safely at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Active RN license necessary.
  • No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience is preferred.
