Clinical Nurse – High-Risk Cardiology (Day Shift)

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valve disease. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Critical skills include evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and barriers. The role requires working safely and attentively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational requirements: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license; BLS, ACLS, EKG certifications.
  • Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
  • Skills: Critical assessment, communication, teamwork, patient education, safety awareness.
