Graduate Nurse – Full-Time

Role Overview

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. This role involves educating patients and families on managing illnesses, developing and modifying care plans collaboratively, and promoting patient safety and quality care. The position requires critical thinking to evaluate patient needs and participation in professional development activities. It is a safety-sensitive role with an emphasis on working safely and alertness.

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
  • Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs using critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

    • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or Associate’s degree).
    • Obligation to obtain nursing licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience or additional certifications are desirable but not required.
