Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical setting supported by leadership and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, respecting cultural differences.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication methods, ensuring patient goals are central to care plans.
- Promote teamwork by coordinating care, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Engage in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold nursing standards, policies, and ethics.
- Advance evidence-based practice, participate in performance improvement, and support research activities.
- Contribute to resource planning, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Current RN license (single or multi-state), Basic Life Support certification, and instructor or provisional BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including direct patient care.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and excellence.
