Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, serving as a frontline representative and intermediary between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Coordination: Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions; develop and implement care plans; collaborate with staff; document care activities; prioritize patient flow.
- Patient Advocacy & Satisfaction: Address patient concerns; serve as an educational resource; communicate with families and providers; promote patient- and family-centered care.
- Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements; support initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and organizational performance.
- Professional Growth & Leadership: Maintain licenses; pursue ongoing education; mentor colleagues; foster a positive work environment; uphold professional standards and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (preferred).
- Active RN license; multistate compact or single-state license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and leadership skills.
