Role Overview

The Caregiver plays a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by providing hands-on support and fostering meaningful relationships. Key responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and documenting any changes. The role emphasizes promoting safety, dignity, and independence, engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Key Duties:

• Assist with personal care and daily activities
• Document resident progress and changes
• Support safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents with conversation and activities
• Support dining services and environmental cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with families and care teams
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss
