CT Technologist (Non Registered)

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with independence and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities include: adjusting techniques to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality, verifying patient identity, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring safety and infection control standards.
Patient care duties: obtaining clinical histories, following procedures for contrast administration, responding to emergencies, and maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
Communication and education: explaining procedures using AIDET, addressing patient questions, and training staff.
Quality control: producing acceptable images, maintaining equipment, and ensuring timely study transmission.
Operational tasks: transporting and positioning patients, restocking supplies, supporting clerical duties, and adhering to regulatory standards.
Qualifications include: radiologic technology certification, minimum 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R certification, and BLS certification.
