Registered Nurse – Critical Care (Night Shift)

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care in collaboration with the patient care team, serving as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to promote positive outcomes and ensure safety and compliance with standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions, assisting with care plans and applying independent judgment to deliver safe, effective care.
  • Coordinate patient care, prioritize patient flow, and maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and incidents.
  • Advocate for patients and families by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating pertinent information to care teams.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas for process enhancements, and support organizational goals for quality and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing education, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
  • Mentor and support the growth of other nurses, fostering a positive work environment and upholding professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelors preferred.
  • Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
  • Certifications in BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
  • Proficiency in nursing skills and a commitment to professional development.
