Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling.
  • Educate patients, families, and support systems, as well as mentor new staff and students.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement care, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Promote a safe environment through accurate documentation, medication safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in invasive procedures, pulmonary testing, and other location-specific tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and professional development activities.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 quarter hours of science.
  • Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or provisional/instructor levels).
  • 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, assessment skills, and computer literacy.
