Cardiac Diagnostic Lab Registered Nurse

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care as a Cardiac Diagnostic Lab Registered Nurse, performing assessments, developing care plans, and educating patients and families on managing their conditions. The nurse promotes patient-centered care, safety, and quality compliance, collaborating with an interprofessional team to ensure effective communication and care continuity. Responsibilities include evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and addressing cultural and individual preferences.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years cardiac or critical care experience required.
  • Current BLS/ACLS certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.

Key Duties:

  • Assess and evaluate patient needs using clinical skills.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management.
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional development.
  • Adhere to standards of nursing practice and regulatory requirements.
