Part-Time MRI Technologist

Role Overview:

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and may handle on-call, portable, or site-specific exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and imaging equipment for procedures.
  • Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
  • Minimum of 2 years MRI experience preferred.
  • Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) and certifications like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
  • Preferred skills include CPR and intravenous therapy.

Position Details:

  • Part-time, 24 hours weekly, with benefits eligibility.
  • Work primarily on weekends with premium pay (50% extra) for weekend hours.
  • Coverage at multiple hospital locations possible.
  • Includes advanced modality imaging such as MRI, with a differential pay increase of 5%.
