Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Stepdown
Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Coordinates care with other departments and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize nursing frameworks to deliver quality patient care
Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Assess and evaluate patient needs and care outcomes
Ensure compliance with standards and hospital mission
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN)
Current RN license in Missouri or with compact licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred: prior hospital experience, BSN, specialty certifications
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements
