Role Overview

The CRNA is an advanced practice nurse responsible for delivering anesthesia in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals. This role involves providing direct patient care, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The CRNA participates in professional development and prepares patients for anesthesia by reviewing laboratory data and initiating induction procedures. It is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience (supervisor experience not required)
  • Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (RN Anesthetist license)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
