Vascular Surgery PCU – Clinical RN (Part-Time) **Vascular Surgery RN – Part-Time**

Role Overview

Provides comprehensive pre/post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing vascular and cardiovascular interventions, including aneurysm repairs, carotid procedures, dialysis access, thrombolysis, bypasses, and stents. Uses critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress. Ensures patient safety, promotes family-centered care, and educates patients and families on management and post-treatment care. Maintains compliance with quality and regulatory standards, participates in professional development, and collaborates with the healthcare team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • RN license with certification in BLS, ACLS, and arterial line monitoring; experience in critical care preferred.
  • Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills; ability to work safely and alertly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the team and family.
  • Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and post-discharge care.
  • Participate in promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop individualized care plans and ensure effective communication across care continuum.
