Role: Registered Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit at a Level I Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
- Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
- Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.
