Emergency Department Clinical Nurse – Night Shift

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. The nurse will promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and support safety and quality initiatives. Developing and communicating personalized care plans, assessing physical and psychosocial needs, and respecting patient values are essential responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in professional development.
  • Create and execute individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team and patients.
  • Assess and evaluate physical, emotional, and cultural needs, addressing barriers to care.
  • Maintain safety as a critical aspect of daily tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • RN license is essential; EMT or ER experience is preferred.
  • No prior experience required; two years of experience is a plus.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
