Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN

Role: Nuclear Medicine technologist
Responsibilities: Perform age-appropriate diagnostic imaging procedures safely, accurately, and independently. Verify clinician orders, obtain patient histories, administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensure proper identification, and review images for quality. Maintain equipment, adhere to infection control standards, and respond to emergencies. Educate and communicate effectively with patients and staff, documenting procedures precisely. Assist with departmental support tasks, including restocking supplies, transporting patients, and maintaining a clean environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in training and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications & Skills: Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R or CNMT certification, BLS certification, minimum 1 year clinical experience (preferably in nuclear medicine). Must demonstrate excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure, prioritize tasks, and operate equipment proficiently. Ability to teach and mentor staff is a plus.
