Part Time Occupational Therapist

Role: An occupational therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients’ daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum, adhering to regulatory standards with a focus on quality and cost-efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patients and develop treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
  • Implement and adjust therapy interventions, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
  • Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement activities.
  • Foster a positive, respectful environment and demonstrate excellent customer service using AIDET principles.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, complete required competencies, and maintain licensure.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
