Role Summary: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Delivers direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality and safety standards.
- Utilizes performance metrics for quality improvement, documents patient progress, and revises care plans as needed.
- Educates patients and families, addressing learning needs and promoting participation in care.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and safety protocols.
- Maintains professional licensure, completes mandatory education, and demonstrates accountability for personal competency.
- Serves as an advocate and care coordinator, collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience or equivalent through residency programs or LPN experience.
- Current RN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or applicable state.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
