Clinical Nurse – GI/Endo

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while actively participating in professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
  • Supports a healing environment by educating patients and families on managing their health and recovery.
  • Participates in activities that enhance safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
  • Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; ability to work safely and alertly in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements: The role involves rotating shifts, call hours, and requires RN licensure. The candidate should have experience in GI, ICU, ED, OR, or critical care settings.
