We are seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative care in a skilled nursing facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering rehabilitative services to enhance patients’ strength, balance, and mobility.
- Observing, documenting, and tracking patient progress.
- Instructing patients and family members on exercises and equipment use.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to coordinate care.
- Maintaining clean treatment areas and adhering to safety standards.
- Engaging in ongoing training to improve skills.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and principles.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and equipment.
