Role Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and ensuring quality control. Cross-training in MRI is available for registered R.T.(R) professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for procedures
- Performing imaging studies across various settings, including on-call and portable exams
Qualifications:
- Associate or Trade School education
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
- CPR and IV therapy certifications are a plus
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong technical skills in diagnostic imaging
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to handle call and holiday rotations
