Role: Clinical Pharmacist Specialist
Join a multidisciplinary team to improve ICU patient outcomes by providing clinical pharmacy services, including order verification, pharmacokinetic, warfarin, and TPN consults. Participate in daily ICU rounds, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to research and committee initiatives. Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students, supporting professional development.
Qualifications:
- PGY1 residency required
- Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Licenses: Medication Therapy Services in MO, RPh
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient health status and medication profiles for optimal outcomes
- Monitor therapy, document activities, and communicate effectively
- Participate in research, performance improvement, and clinical effectiveness activities
- Educate and mentor pharmacy staff, residents, and students
- Implement drug cost reduction programs
