Role Overview:
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must hold a current Georgia RN license and BCLS certification
- New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
- Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialized pediatric and surgical certifications
