Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient acute dialysis unit with 13 beds, utilizing advanced renal replacement therapies such as hemodialysis, CVVHDF, CVVHD, and others. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and medication, ensuring safety and compliance, and addressing patients’ physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. The role emphasizes professional development, leadership, and collaboration within a safety-sensitive environment.
