Role Overview: Provides high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and communicates patient and departmental concerns to leadership. Serves as a resource and guide for staff, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery of nursing care and address operational issues
- Provide clinical care as needed based on patient census
- Communicate effectively with team and leadership about patient care and staff concerns
- Assist and guide nursing staff to ensure quality care
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
- Valid RN license and Multistate licensure
- Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS certifications
- Specialty certifications as applicable, including advanced certifications in relevant fields
- Experience in emergency, labor/delivery, or pediatric care is advantageous
