Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role promotes patient and family-centered care, educates patients on managing their health, and participates in activities that ensure safety, quality, and compliance. Nurses develop personalized care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, and assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care and educate families on post-treatment needs and medication management.
- Participate in safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
- Create and communicate individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring continuity of care.
- Assess patient needs holistically, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
- Maintain safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities.
