Role Overview
Seeking a Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Unit. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, promoting patient and family-centered care, and ensuring safety and compliance. The nurse educates patients on managing their conditions and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. The role involves working with advanced cardiac devices and interventions in a demanding ICU environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree
- Valid RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with 2+ years of experience, especially in critical care or cardiac units
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism
