Role Overview:
This position provides skilled occupational therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients in a home care setting. It involves establishing treatment plans, delivering interventions, and considering discharge needs and equipment requirements. The role requires collaboration and education of patients, families, and healthcare providers, along with making appropriate referrals. Delegating tasks to assistants and documenting services in accordance with policies are essential responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT); Master’s preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and Occupational Therapist license
- No prior experience required; supervision experience is not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
