Role Overview:
This position provides direct patient care in an emergency room setting, treating patients of all ages with a focus on assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care according to established standards. The role involves promoting patient-centered care, educating patients and families, ensuring safety, and collaborating with an interprofessional team to develop and communicate care plans. Critical nursing skills are essential for evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience in emergency department settings is preferred; prior ED experience required
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety focus
