Caregiver Role in Senior Living

As a Caregiver, your key responsibilities include assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following individualized service plans, and documenting any changes. Supporting dining services and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment are also essential duties. In Memory Care, creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss is part of the role.
The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma or GED, is age 18 or older, and has CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it. Strong communication skills, reliability, and compassion are essential qualities.
