Role: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities: Performing the nursing process, delivering relationship-based patient-centered care, coordinating interdisciplinary communication, supporting performance improvement, serving as a preceptor or mentor, promoting evidence-based practice, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications: Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Nursing degree, valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact), BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience is required.
